I didnt automatically jump to vietnam, just war in general, but i have to say, HDdvd, the format that thought they were doing the right thing, pushing the right stuff, doing everyhting protocol and yes sir and no man...eventually getting sneak attacked by sony and big pay offs...hmm. seems pretty straight forward to me...
Nobody cares about the spec. It plays HD movies like it is supposed to...HDdvd camp just needed an argument...I guess they should have been more focused on paying people off.
