They are being wronged, but we must not distort the truth and facts or we risk polluting the purity of this cause. 300k is an extreme over exaggeration. And sending money to feed these kids is not a solution but a prolonging mistake. Intervention or ignorance is all that will change the situation. Keeping kid soldiers alive with med care and food just keeps them alive to fight and kill other kids.

Children have little to no fear because they do not understand war. IF you understand something you know what it can do, and if it does something bad, you avoid it. E.X.

The weapons manufacturers are rarely the ones who supply the weapons in the case in question. Especially H&K and Colt, who are large companies with brand quality and reputations to protect. Plus I hardly if ever see the weapons those companies make in 3rd world conflicts. Its mostly groups who purchase weapons then supply groups fro a number of reasons such as political or drug related.

i hate it when they put children to the battlefield!!! those MF cowards!! Children should play and have a lovely family not walkin on a minefield with guns!!! I am really happy i have a wonderful family and a good childhood without guns and bombs!!!!!1

thats just sad to see all those kids get their childhoods taken away and into war. I also heard that they also have to kill their families to get in the army :_(

But to answer your question, they innitially have no choice to fight, but are inducted into a program which makes them "willing" to fight, this has made them very resistent to "rehabilitation" ask anyone who does this, it is very difficult. And regarding fear, I answered that one, they are particularly able to not only suppress it, but eliminate it. Sorry, but you just cant look at your western child, and assume that children under different conditions will be the same, worlds not that simple.
