Erm... it's kinda explained in the song itself.

Atomic fire can only be gotten by beating Heatman, which he can only do so by passing the long string of disappearing tiles. And he can't do that without getting Item 2 from beating Airman. And he can't do that either because he also can't beat Woodman.

It's a vicious cycle. Well, until you discover that Metal Blades are surprisingly more effective against Woodman than the normal buster.

Cool, I'm going to do that. Is it only Megaman 2 Japanese version that is harder? I have MM1 JP version, but can't tell if it's harder or not. Also I have Ninja Gaiden (JP version I think?) coz I swear it's harder than I remember, lol. I might have lost practise is all. =P

Is there a way to download the Japanese version of the game (via emulator?). I played the US version on hard, and noticed Metalman had twice as much health. As for Airman, his health didn't go down slower, but I'm sure his attacks dealt more damage. Either way, it's not as hard as this song says, lol, but this song is too cool for me to care about details like that. =P

use google to search for Megaman 2 ROM JP or japanese. You should find something!

Yeah bud, people think the US hard is the equivalent to the one difficulty of the JP version...
I don't think so, i've played them one after the other and the only boss I beat with the Mega Buster was Metal Man, and even that isn't easy.
