Yeah... I took off the wheels and trucks on my skateboard and tried going down a hill. it worked, in a way. Except you couldn't steer and every time you stopped, you had this HUGE chunk of ice on the grip tape :(

the lib tech bananna snowskate is the best bi-level deck. i dont like the regular flat bottom ones but i ride my libtech all over the moutain.

i dont use a snowskate, but i do know the grip tape on snowskates is different cus skateboard griptape ices over real bad with compressed snow and it dosnt come off.

What would you guys recommend?
One of those Ambition Snowskates (without those skis on the bottom) or just buying those skis for my regular skateboard?

Also, which one is cheaper?
