I have many transsexual freinds and when I saw this video, I immediately thought of them. It made me think of the ones that weren't strong enough to make the transition and took their own lives. I love my transsexual friends, especially "TS Lucia Miel". Thank you for being my friend. xoxoxoox

hm. i always thought that this song was an homage to someone Katie loved who suicided. I have nothing to back me up on this, but it's what the lyrics and music tell me.

I guess this speaks to us all profoundly and is heard through a filter created by our own experiences.
No one really knows what it's about except the writer, insomuchas no one can ever truly know another. In this way, it seems a piece of art has as many truths as it has viewers.
I retract my previous statement about steele being wrong.

"I Cried for You" is about Jesus and Mary Magdalene.

I just came across her music. It's all very beautiful. I think basically this song is about how we are all one. How he became her, she became him, etc. One grain of sand is connected to all the sand.. It made me cry because we mean a lot and don't take the time in our busy lives to matter.

I do not understand the music video but this song hit my heart;) I love Katie Melua's voice:)
