yeah what a start best intro ever and it just gets better, a true masterpiece in rockn n roll writing /singing /playing/rythms are incredible.i am 55 and i will never tire of hearing this,saw em once in birmingham uk and this was first song on set and crowd went nuts .

All the pieces that people address here (the positive ones, that is!) plus Lowell's editorial comment about Kenny in the liner notes from Dixie Chicken (" Do not be deceived by this bit of musicianship simply described as bass.") are what made/makes this such an incredible band. I din't know the man outside of a couple of handshakes at shows, but I miss Lowell everyday.

I know the Feat are still out there doing they're thing but the original line-up w/ Lowell and the boys were the most soulful, blusiest rock band ever! I was lucky enough to be at Lizner Auditorium in DC when they recorded the Waiting For Columbus album.

sophiesage - Agree with you 100% - Unfortunately I missed this band with the original line-up. Believe this fantastic live appearance was from the BBC Old Grey Whistle Test in England. Timeless classic.
