you're telling me that young black as well as white kids think that the crap they like(rap) can compare to this? please,..i know that every generation thinks that their music is better than what the older folks like, but, again...please...this song is as good as it gets

I see your point but drugs/booze has always been a problem for some, and not for others. (i.e. Beiderbecke) Just seems like more of a problem for more of our talented people now.

Yes indeed, you're right. Every epoque/era had and has it's problems and will probably continue doing so.
Still, at least in those days singers dressed nicely, real posh, to put a bit of glamour in peoples' lives eh!

OMG, I could listen to these guys for EV AH!! Todays dudes will never know or undestand what Music meant, iT WAS NOT ANGRY. iT WAS SMOOTHE AS A BABY'S BOTTOM AND WE LOVED ALL OF THE MOWTOWN SOUND. NO BODY can beat the Motown sound from those like these, platters temptations. Anthony Imperirals and etc...today YOU CAN'T CATCH UM AND NOT WORTHY TO BE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH SUCH GREATS!!
