that and DON'T ASK AND DON'T TELL. they fight cause they have faith and they will do what ever it takes to help us and keep us safe. be thank full for going to school cause there are men and women dying over there to keep us safe. i no a marine he is my uncle and i thank him and all the milteary cause they do there job right that why we are here now.

why do ppl look down on solders there there protecting you that talk down about them it take a real hero to do that

you must be a SUPER CIVILIAN or something, because nowadays everyone has at least a small idea of how the military works. Once you join, you take an OATH to protect The United States. The troops arent just in iraq and afghanistan, theyre stationed all over the world to do one thing only.. PROTECT YOU & YOURE FREEDOM. So why dont you stop trying to come up with ways people can leave the military and just be thankful that people put their life on the line for you and the freedom you have today.

You can choose to desert the military, the IVAW is full of former U.S. troops.You can flee to Canada or try to come up with a reason you cannot fight anymore,like Mohammad Ali did when he was drafted to go to Vietnam,he was excused because of his religion.Or you can just say you are suffering from severe Asthma.

Um, they can't choose not to go - do you have any idea how the US Military works? You enjoy all the freedoms you have today becaue men and women VOLUNTEER to fight and possibly die to protect them for you. You can read what I'm writing, right?  Then thank a teacher. well, now that the americans managed to hang that "dictator who raped and killed women and had a school teaching men to do this", why are they still there?? I hear in the news every single day that soldiers are dying in Iraq. It doestn't seem reasonable to me the fact of keeping them where they obviously are not wanted, unless, of course, there are other issues involved....
