Right now the oilers really need guys like Smitty, Jason smith etc, guys with heart, in order to bring the oilers back to days of glory.

its not that we couldnt afford him...he wanted too much money for a guy that has never scored 80+ pts..management thought the money could be spent better else where`

Well when you put it like that, he kinda sucks lol..but yea i think it was that , but the problem was is that they didn't put the money anywhere else...

I know, but it's just that I hated Mac T too, either way, I love Smitty and the Oilers, it sucks that Smitty's now gonna play with a shitty team like the Kings, but on the bright side, now I'll be able to get his autograph on my Oilers jersey since he's real close now
