And as far as cummins or duramax trucks running 13s with only bolt ons and tuning, from what I've seen at the tracks in the chitown area, trucks with said mods barely ever break into the 13s. Usually the ones running that fast or faster have an aftermarket turbo of some sort. Diesels make heaps of torque, granted, but it takes a lot to get a 2500 or 3500 truck going that quick. I'm just saying that

The definition of hydrocarbons is unburned fuel. That is their primary source. And I agree, diesel has come a LONG way since they introduced catalytic converters on them a few years ago. But make no mistake, diesel trucks and other vehicles were a huge source of emissions pollution in their day.
