thanx a lot.... people should also refer to the U.S governement site for info. Also, what kind of questions did you have prepared to ask....please list them....i also made a list that corresponds with the gov website...also i read that contracts by koreans in south korea are not actually binding but can be flexible for their convenience...not ours...

When I was getting my passport, the lady at the passport office said I would need to get additional passport photos to get my Visa, and that in those photos I'm not supposed to smile. Is this true? Thanks!

Hey thanks for the info. I was wondering if American born koreans can work in korea as well.

Gyopos, or Korean Americans actually have a better chance of getting jobs here... it is harder to live here as a Korean American because the locals will assume you are Korean and will treat you differently if they know you can't speak their language...

There is a preference for American English accents, but I have friends from all over who teach here... It just depends on the wishes of your school...

I bought all my electronics here in Korea... It seemed to be smarter. I don't know what to do with them all once I leave though... The electric sockets are different so US electronics need an adapter to work...

informative. some details are probably not completely accurate, and there will probably be much more trouble for some less prepared people (and conversely: less trouble for those who are known/ more desirable for example people who've already been through a lot of the charade with the diploma, background check, etc.) trying to get in, but on balance, very well done vid!
