the heatsink looks more easier to lap than CPU... lol you lapped your hand too... lololololol xD

cpu is easiler, cause cooler's got the edges that makes it real hard to sand down with

the heatsinks weight tends to help a bit

if the sufaces are very bad upto 15oc but normanly 5-10oc

All about what chip you got, but around 3-6 C sometimes higher, sometimes lower.
