First off, Elizabeth needs a hairdo. She would have a lot more credibility if she didnt look like a dowdy old housemaid. Secondly, a lot of fun numbers to look at, but throughout her discussion is this thread that all these folks are victims and that somehow government will fix the problem. To quote old Ronnie, government is not the solution to the problem; government is the problem. I stayed in school, stayed out of debt, didnt father illegitimate children, didnt do drugs. Magic.
Also, why the hell would anyone pay more for a preschool education than a college education? That's just stupid. She ignores a few common sense things and acts like "that's just the way it is."
Wondering why she didn't address the increased tax burden? Also, I don't think she adequately busted on higher education, especially private schools and their insanity. Is college really the key to success in the US is another question besides what popular opinion is. Overall it was a good presentation.
I made a video talking about the big picture with Obama. I hope you spend 10 minutes viewing it, so you can see what Obama is really about.
"Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."
Elizabeth warren is so intelligent that I am sort of attracted to her. I think she is the Avtar (incarnation) of Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth. And Obama is the Avtaar of Gandhi, the great soul (Mahatma) of peace and humanity. USA is very fortunate to have both these people even though it is in very very deep trouble and debt right now.
yup all donation restrictions on corporations have been wiped off the board. Now shell companies will be set up for the most brutal and powerful corporations around the world so they can "donate" to political campaings as much as they want. It is about to get very scary very fast. I really believe we are too big of a country, too much power at the top, too little solidarity from such a wide variety of people, it can't be managed.
