@MPLSTORM. So when did dodge come out with a 2300 Power wagon? And please do your more research. Ford superduty out does the dodge in all areas of towing, payload, Ford outsells Dodge and goverment motor(GM) combined every year. The only reason dodge is even involved in any portion of the sales is because of there partnership with cummins. I own a 2005 2500HD with a cummins. Love the truck but I still prefer a Ford. And F*$k gas all together. Itll be nice when they all have light duty diesels.

I don't have a problem with people liking fords, but just because they sell more doesn't make them a better truck. And yes, they definitely need some good lighter duty diesels. So much more effecient and powerful than gas.

how do you get ford having more anything over dodge? maybe better gas milage with their smaller engines. You should be doing some research buddy.

I drive a dodge 3500 (a 12er). As far as diesel goes, dodge has got em all beat. But dodge hasn't come out with a trophy truck and ford has. I'd probably buy one of the new dodge 1500s before a raptor simply because it has better everyday features. But I would like to take a raptor on a nice test run in the mud lol

That's the truth. All I can say is that they did the right thing outsourcing their diesels!

@dannyjs25 yes they did for sure. i prefer gm, but like f150's as well. dodges are ok, at least the 02+ rams.. but i would love to be behind the wheel of a new cummins heavy duty. such a mean truck

I love the interiors of the new dodges. see if you can get a dealership to give you a test drive. the seats are great and so is the layout.

For the 99% of us who don't live in Baja or Southwest, the raptor is absolutely pointless. Desert trucks are a micro-niche in the truck market, and totally useless on the street or in a heavy-duty towing roll. The 2010 Ram 2300 powerwagon has what a true off-roader wants... GEARS, LOCKERS, suspension articulation, towing capacity, torque, payload, flexibility, practicality, value. If you'rea wanna-be baja racer then the Raptor is for you; otherwise you're showing off skills you dont have.
