It is funny that people thought that McCain would be a 3rd Bush term. In fact, Obama seems to be constructing a Bush 3rd term. This country is in big trouble now.

please people, if he is assigning the same people that got us into this mess, how in the world do you think he is going to change? those same people will give him advice that would lead us to more spending less saving and this illusion of wealth that is created by the trading of paper, instead of real production. What does the US really produce these days? think about it.

Assigning the same people that got us into this mess doesnt mean that it wont be changing. Obama differs alot from Bush- you do the comparison. Barack most likely has different ideas. He might listen to ppl around him, but he doesnt necessarily have to act as they tell him to. cmon, you should know that. oh and...what does the US really produce these days?? Well, movies hahah

When you are in an economic crisis, you want the best and most experienced people and not newbies who probably don't know there left from there right.
Lawrence Summers (who is actually smarter than Geithner who also happens to be a genius), Timothy Geithner and Paul Volcker (who fought inflation in the Reagan administration) are some of the smartest in the world.
