just donated a little to the organization. i wish i could do more- no woman, regardless of age or gender or nationality or race, deserves to go through that.
After recently watching the news article on 60 Minutes I was appalled at the atrocities being committed to these women and their children; families and friends. Later on in the broadcast a group of women were learning to make soap, were's the importance in that? Instead, they need to be taught how to defend themselves with martial arts like Kali (a high speed killing art from the Fillipines)and to use fire-arms. The sooner these women learn to fight the sooner they'll be free.
the average time a woman is raped in DRC is 3-4 times. i cant even once, let alone 3-4 times of being brutaly raped and mutilated. women are always affected during war first.

The way us Africans think baffles me! Our thinking is the main reason why our continent is a continent of basket cases and banana republics.
