The idea isn't bad. But, communism requires leadership free from corruption. I am yet to see for myself a single government, corporation, conglomerate, or industry whose leaders are free from corruption. I just think that putting that much trust in entities that have already, time and again throughout the course of history, and more recently in my own experience have shown themselves to be power hungry, greedy, inhumane dogs. Under communism, Everyone's a slave. Trust Master to treat us well?

Are you serious? As far as I am concerned, my statement was not an opinion, but one of fact. If you disagree, you must not be very well read; blind to history, and completely thoughtless and carefree about the direction our world is moving.

And if your saying, "this time it will be different, because we are America", your argument depends on a suspension of logic. Our being America will not prevent the elite social class from screwing us here. Shoot, they already are.

Correction: Should read "all of" instead of "some of". It would be more correct to say 'communism is bad because leaders are bad'. Sure, not every single individual leader is bad, but there is a lot of bad in EVERY government. In Communism, which requires a BIG government, those evil tendencies are magnified, and have a much greater effect on a communist society then in a free market capitalism where the system can self correct.

the idea of communism isnt bad. It was just failing a lot of countries. Old China, Vietnam, Old Korea(North n South), and Indonesia. So US promoted Democracy and caused civil wars in these countries. Taiwan vs China, North vs south Vietnam and Korea. US and the democracy succesfully defeated North Korea, before getting taken over by China back. The idea of communism isnt bad at all, its a failing system though. Thats why China is a socialist country, otherwise they would have perished long ago.

Obama didn't really mess up the oath until after he took office. Now he's spending like a madman, pushing stupid policies that will destroy our economy and freedom for years and possibly decades.
