Oh my God... i'm just a country girl and Ive never been out of Oregon... I've never seen an actual big city like this... Its the most beautiful thing I've ever seen... Oh my God i want to go there SO BAD O_O

No it's not. Most of the downtown is clean as hell. There are a few really sketchy blocks full of drug fiends but most of them are harmless. There are clean injection sites so all the drugs are really concentrated. Vancouver is an incredibly safe city (the majority of it).

I'm sure it's safe,compared to Philly where I am no doubt. Wife was in Vancouver last mo for a concert and the motel they stayed in was in a not so nice looking area.
