I just discovered this man.

What really strikes me is when I looked at pictures, and watch the little of footage that there is from him. It is all black and white, cause they're old. The sound unclean.

He lived in a time that's a littler longer ago. Not so long, but still..

But then, I listen to what he says... and it's so strange, because it doesn't feel the same way as the pictures and the film footage. It's way ahead of them. It's way ahead of our time.

That's exactly what it is about him and why he used to get into soo much trouble. His philosophy/ style of entertainment was basically illegal.

no doubt Hicks is great but Bruce was one of the first.
lenny bruce truly was a great foundation for all free minded comedians and people to speak and perform the way they wanted to.

he was convicted of word crimes in the land of free speech.
