The Music of Video Games [02] Contra

Konami code 4 life. Wish you could use it in real life haha.

There might not be a single game with better music.

Of course, I thought I was a god at this game until a friend of mine recently admitted that he could beat this game regularly using only one life and, just to beat out his own level of gaming nerdness, learned to play it with his feet (using the NES Advantage) ...and eventually beat it using only one life.

Seriously, no one has beat this game using one life? I lie not and tell you the truth: I have not only beat this game using only one life, but I've beaten Super C and Contra 3: Alien Wars using only one life.

C'mon guys, all it takes is y'know, 1,000 hours of game time.

well ive beaten the first contra and super C with one life and it dident take me 1000 hours of game time but Contra 3 is waaaaaaaay too hard for me:)

1:57... I can still hear the stick grenades flying over my head... in gaming terms, this was the equivalent of the 'Nam, son! O_o

this game was loads of fun :)

I got all the way to stage 5 without the Konami code... so lol I have to use it to beat it, pathetic yes, but I admit it. Great Game, great tunes.
