Be Bop Deluxe smokes it up from a time when Bands could actually play. They finished their shows with this Jam at the end of Blazing Apostles. Bill Nelson's solo is simply beautiful. Its As if he were firing blazing arrows at the sun. Watch how he adjusts his amp in the middle of a run without missing a beat! Special Kudos to Drummer Simon Fox for nearly setting his kit ablaze.

Saw Bebop in '77 as a headliner in the Detroit area...great show! Nice to know where the band goes with this tune after it fades out on the live album. As a guitar player, I've always been a huge Bill Nelson fan. Thanks for the memories...
I saw BeBop in Jersey city, NJ back around '74, a group called the Dictators (really sucked) opened, then Styx , just as they hitting it big came on. Now they were okay but BBD completely blew them away. Bill Nelsons solo during Shine was some of the most amazing guitar work I've ever heard, he went off for a good 5mins, never missed a beat or a note, and it was real guitar playing.not this overblown fret board shredding you hear these days.
Yeah! BBD in their prime...saw them 4-5 times in SF and LA--saw Modern Music tour in 2 cities...good stuff. Charlie Tumahi on bass--killa...RIP Charlie.
I saw Be Bop Delux at Loughborough University in the mid seventies and they played an instrumental solo called "Watch this space". Has anyone else heard of this?, it was like, Hendrix eat your heart out. I would love to hear it again.
I saw these guys many times in San Fran. I think they were one of the best bands ever. Their live shows proved that and Bill is still my favorite guitarist EVER. YES I love EC but Bill burnt the house down with his speed and fluid playing.
