He was very insightful into the human character. He brought me much amusement and joy over his lifetime. It was interesting to see the changes in his comedy and persona over the years.
Agree with you there. I never heard of george carlin except through youtube but looking at some of his 2000+ "stuff" it had become really vicious towards the end...more social commentary. This performance is a much more gentle one. I get the feeling he was getting more and more pissed off with the human race towards the end of his life. Always funny though.
