@infringementMAN Every musical note is associated with a particular sound wave frequency. The tesla coils are actually turning on and off to at a very high frequency produce a note. The different notes are produced by changing the frequency at which the tesla coils turn on and off.

gee how did u hook up the tesla coils to the computer and what software are u using? does this work with some kind of frequency modulation?!

I might add that you can input relatively easily any sound to a Tesla coil. I've seen several videos en YouTube of people playing guitar through a Tesla coil.
