When I was in school we where told Genesis was counted by Biblical scholars as the 'creation myths' and were good stories that wheren't literal but were a good way of descibing the beginings of the earth to simple people. I recently heard a creationist describe evelution as a 'creation myth'.
I'm not an atheist but nothing pisses me off more than when 'Christians' fail to live by their own dictums. Fundamentalists love to reiterate how the Bible is infalible and 'every word is true' but look the other way when Biblical law conflicts with their lifestyles, How many fundamentalist preachers have failed to live by "Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesars and unto God the things that are Gods" (Matthew 22:21) ? Kent Hoving for one-are you honest enough to respond to this ?
I commented on another video that it must be painful to listen to his lectures as he puts in all shorts of wierd inflections in his tone of voice and treats his audience like idiots (although, if they are who I think they are, he's not far off the mark with that one.)
