Mclean had the series of a lifetime in 94, but he wasn't a really great goalie. He let in so many soft goals where he just didn't move. He was kind of frustrating to watch.

Two series really stand out in my mind for the drama of the finals: Canucks Rangers in 94 and Flames Lightning in 04. There have been other 7 game series, but most don't turn into the all out wars these two series were.

Luongo aint no Kirk Mclean, and anybody who thinks otherwise is a damn fool!

wow i remember this series, i was like 4 and me and my dad watched every game from game 1 of the flames series to game 7 of the finals. bittersweet memories, id love to see Linden vs. Messier again but i guess it'll never happen.

Canucks suck? you obviously didn't watch that Stanley Cup run. they destroyed Toronto - get a look at a photo of Gilmore from that series. Vancouver was of the toughest teams to ever play for the Cup. and i'm a Rangers fan
