exactly, Africa is independent and it is a bit demeening when they are constantly being depicted as helpless and such victims while yes, they do need help but they wouldnt want such over exposure if they had the power to stop it.

I agree with you completelty. I thot they were done making those kinds of movies which made me really sad until the Princess and the Frog came out. it wasnt exactly what i would call clasic disney but at least we know they arent done yet.

I prefer drawn disney. It's a beautiful form of art, it has more personality to it. The music is also works of art. The sequels that have been recently made are cheap, tacky and lacking what the originals had greatly.

Bullshit. Films today can be just as magical. Just because you're not willing to accept it because they're "colorful" (which is a generalization, as most are as colorful as mostly hand-drawn films) doesn't mean your cynicism has to ruin it for others.

But there is something wrong with disregarding the fact that there is a new hand-drawn Disney film with as much magic as the previous ones and about as much CGI as those made during the Renaissance.

omg me too! i just finished watched pocahontas(the first of course) lion king, and mulan :) now i think i might watch the hunchback of notre dame..i miss this kind of disney..
