You do not continue to sin once Christ comes into your life.

If Christ has made you free you will be free and free indeed.

Jesus said, "I came to destroy the works of the Devil." The Devil sinned from the beginning, so Christ is here to eliminate sin and forgive us.

He taught a Gospel of repentance, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the oldest Gospel, the one True Gospel. The Gospel of Christ.

Actually, we DO continue to sin because we are merely forgiven sinners. The second you start to think that you are no longer a sinner, you are headed for a major fall into pride. Proverbs 16, verse 18. But what matters is that Christ wiped the slate clean! He paid the price for ALL of it for us. When Christ said, "It is finished", he meant it! So do your best to live right and don't worry about sin anymore. The devil can keep his guilt. I'll have no part of it. Enjoy the gift of salvation!

He did mean "it is finished." He meant everything. The old Law, sin, the sacrifice, etc.

Don't worry about sin? If Christ has made you free, sin will be no problem. Those whom Christ has made free will truly be free. God hates sin. We cannot continue in sin when we know the Truth (Jesus Christ himself).

May Jesus Bless you.

Your spirit IS free but your flesh will always be the flesh. Don't let religions or churches or pastors or anyone else convince you it's a brownie point system. It's not. God's grace is for all who accept it. All I'm saying is once you've accepted it, you don't have to worry about a debt that's already been settled in full by our savior. Satan is a liar & a thief and will try to steal your joy and peace if you let him make you feel guilty for being human & a forgiven sinner. Don't let him! :)

Amen. The modern church teaches that you can have salvation and continue to sin. No repentance nowadays. :(

@ReinEngel2 No its actually a very hard one to do. You have to learn from God to separate works of the flesh from works of the Spirit. You have to constantly be looking to Christ for insight instead of your own knowledge and understanding. You must deny yourself and follow Christ or face eternal punishment and pain in Hell.
