He has way to much 'pop' in his voice for this song. and he isn't being very dramatic when he sings the 'grasp it, sense it' parts. Your supposed to draw it out, like in the Original cast recording. (which I listen to everyday on my way to work, and back). He isn't a very good Phantom, but he is an OK singer.
I thought David Cook's voice on this song Music Of The Night was fantastic, which had me feeling teary, and I also had Goosebumps, and I thought he is truly fabulous and amazing.
He has a nice voice, but I actually didn't like the performance. He failed to capture the emotional spirit of the song. Sure his voice is nice, but the overall performance was entirely bland.
now this is a voice that would make u melt!!!! no not a theatre voice but a stunning version of this song!! i would b putty in David Cooks hands!! stunning xx
