Radio host & self-proclaimed "professional apologist who works at it 24 hours a day" Bob Morey enjoys spending lots of time at home watching television talk shows that include plenty of non-Christian material as well as plenty of sex talk. Morey gleefully shares what sex news he has learned from watching television with his Sunday morning church audience during his sermons. The clips here came from Morey's church sermon files & endless more could have been cited. Hank Hanegraaff, director of the Christian Research Institute & host of the "Bible Answer Man" radio show whose founder was Dr Walter Martin who was a frequent guest on the John Ankerberg Show says "Dr" Robert A. Morey of Faith Defenders, Biblical Thought, Faith Community Church (FCC), California Biblical University and Seminary (CBUS), Bob Morey Live, and Doxological Apologetics is dishonest & unscholarly. Hanegraaff's comments come in reference to a report Morey wrote in his national "Researcher" newsletter attacking Gregory A. Boyd, author of the book, "Oneness Pentecostals and the Trinity." Boyd's book was endorsed by Hanegraaff & the CRI staff. In a letter by Dr. Boyd he states, "..."Truth-Seeker Bob [Morey] went after me with a vengence. He was trying to prove Hank Hanegraaff was incompetent in endorsing my book by proving that I was a heretic on the basis of my former book "Trinity and Process". He sent letters around the country telling Christian distributors to stop selling my books because I was (among other things) a process theologian, that I denied the Incarnation, I denied the Trinity!!!, and I was, in short, a closet liberal. His tactics half worked as my book sales dropped significantly. I still get hassaling mail from people about this. Well, to make a long story short, I have never in my life encountered, or even imagined, such blatant malice, deceit, and vile ungodliness -- let alone in someone who taunts himself as a Christian leader. At first I thought this was just an extraordinarily dull person (I had never heard of him before) who couldn't read, who had an extraordinary meglomaniac streak which made him want to be a "scholar." Hence he looked silly. But, as the case wore on, I began to see that the situation was far worse. He 'had' to understand my work enough to know 'how' to distort it. And, I began to see, he had to be lying intentionally to be so consistent and manipulative with them. This man, I finally came to see, WAS EVIL. He's a megalomaniac with a vengence, and so far as I can see, not an ounce of honesty or integrity to curb it with. This man is, in my estimation, very bad for Christianity, and very dangerous." The entire letter and other supporting documentation can be found by going to a hard copy pdf site on the internet called fileqube (.com)/ shfolder/10211vNiXWr and look for the report entitled "Recapping Events." Another useful site is the saintaugustinian (.blogspot) with links to multiple internet sites & blogs that expose "Faith Defector" Robert A. Morey for what he really is which adds support & documentation to what Boyd has said.

"Sammeyk" thinks "Truthseeker" Bob Morey is "funny" which on the surface may be true but this "funny" reality reveals something more sinister. Here we have a so-called Christian "scholar" spending lots of time watching ungodly & unChristian television with apparently no pang in conscience about it. This revealing attribute tells us more about the character of the man Morey himself. This way may reveal why Morey has no "pangs" about engaging in dishonest scholarship or fraudulent activities.
Dear "Bobhayford" I can tell you have an analytical mind & I like that (you're probably a chess player if I were to guess, I am too). Anyway, as I was telling "Omiolo," the point here is that Morey is watching way too much television for what Morey claims to be. Once you realize that the few clips represented in this Youtube presentation are only a microcosm of the zillions scattered throughout Morey's church sermons & teaching talks you immediately know how this man spends his time at home.
"Omiolo," that is exactly the point. If "Faith Defenders" Robert Morey is really this great "Man of God" and great "Bible scholar" that he wants everyone to believe about him then what in the world is he spending so much time watching so much television day & night?? Particularly, notice what TYPE of TV show he likes to watch, people like Phil Donahue, Ophra Winfry & the like. Notice the uncalled for sexual content he brings up in his sermons (these are clips from his church sermon tapes)!
Titus 1:15-16 says, "Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate." Besides Proverbs 6: 16-19, this Bible passage is another perfect description of Morey. Morey CLAIMS to be a Christian but his personal life & fraudulent activities betray the fact that he is NOT.
