This reminds me of my time at university studying engineering, how can such an interesting subject be made so difficult to understand and painfully boring? I'm glad I changed course to study Product Design where the learning environment was very different.
I'd rather buy a quality text and read about the subject myself. I think finding a charasmatic/interesting/inform ative engineering lecturer would akin to finding a needle in a haystack,
Simply, without being rude to the instructor, a good teacher, had understood the topic and transfers it in the bast way. A bad one is someone who repeats the slides without knowing the real problems. That is why we always need to know the teacher before listening...

but fortunately his english is very clear , and all NPTEL lectures are great

But thats not the point here, this guy is kinda Russian you know from the Sothern Part I mean
