Edmonton's materials are sold to brokers, mills and manufacturers locally, in North America and to export markets overseas. For example, mixed paper is sold to EMCO right here in Edmonton. Most newsprint is sold to mills in the U.S. Less than 2% is exported overseas.

This is all very good, but where does it go after? Is there such a place in Canada where they re-use all this, or is it shipped abroad?
