This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It looks and sounds beautiful. It is grand and deep in its scope. In short, it's a masterpiece.

I want to see this movie, my mom tried to get me to watch it when I was a little kid, but I didn't, I went outside to play, I really wish I would have watched it then.

This film is beautiful. As a matter of fact: it was the first DVD I've bought in my life, after seeing it at least 3 times before on television :)

Get the Meridian Collection DVD (a Lionsgate imprint). It has a great commentary track by the writer and director, and the trailer is MUCH better than this one. I previously owned a standard DVD of Red Violin and the Meridian Collection one is better.
