that's the best-case scenario for democrats. obama will wipe the floor with her face in a debate.

second-best scenario: dick cheney runs. that is unless he's indicted for war crimes by then. though knowing cheney, he would probably run anyway.

I'll meet ya half-way. I think she was clearly "struggling" to maintain a stoic appearance. :-) Her look to me said, "I know this idiot clearly does not think I'm buying into anything she's saying here. Another thing, as often as Palin practices hedging, Katie Couric also reiterated her one of her questions, and stated, "and I ask you again not to belabor the point." She was letting Palin know that she was aware of her ploy of trying to fake answers by failling back to campaign rhetoric
