in real life he should have gone to jail for murder but those 2 men were not innocent they would not have not gotten the punishement they deserved b/c they are white and even more so in the south which is extremely racist in most parts so yeah they got what they deserved.. to many hate crimes go unpunished

In my real life and I really hope in yours too, if you see racist, even two (base their freindship on sick behavior) rape a little girl (doesnt have to be my daughter), I would not think twice before taking their head off!

There was no trial so there was no way of knowing if they were guilty. Plenty of people "confess" to crimes they didn't commit.
