sorry bhaji he was born in punjab. The unfortunate punjab of pir fakir and guru's which was destroyed raped and killed years ago and the punjab who still cry for peace but people cant stop dividing it wether they are from east punjab or west punjab

A little description of the translation:

Do remember that Pakistani poems are usually written in a woman's voice. A woman without her man feels vulnerable, and so "she" sings that amidst her tears, she repeats his name for his return to her embrace.

So Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali sings in the chorus that, "she" is embarassed, shy, ashamed to be seen without her lover, her man. She so repeats her lover's name amidst her tears in the hopes her lover would come back to her embrace, his home.
