I saw U2 in Pittsburgh during the 80s and they closed with this song. The crowd continued to sing "How long to sing this song" for about 20 minutes after the lights in Mellon Arena came on. I could hear the singing as I drove out of the parking lot. It was moving and gives me the chills every time I think about it.

I too saw them at the Pontiac Silver Dome in 87', what a show to hear 65k ppl sing this it was amazing.

ha, I saw them in pittsburgh in '87! I snuck up with my buddy to the 3rd row, center. beyond awesome. and, the crowd sang this all the way out of three rivers stadium. one of my favorite memories.....

Actually I think until the Rattle and Hum tour they closed every show with 40. I got to see them in Boston in 1983 for the unforgettable fire tour and it was a great show

It was rare when Ghostdog posted it in '07dumbass. Then you could only find it on VHS and you were lucky to get that. Pay attention rookie.
