Negima!? OP

how much does this follow the manga and how many volumes does this cover? should i just start reading the manga? ive only seen the negima anime with lots of humor (think it was mahou sensei negima)

no it dosen't it's competely non canon if you want canon your gonna have to watch the al alba and other world ova's

well basically non of the anime follow the manga how they should,but the manga anime and OVA's are awesome and funny :P

if we compare every anime to its manga, then every anime sucks, but I'm asking if the anime is any cool, thanks anyway, aaand I love comedy, maybe I should take a look

Yeah I know where you're coming from. Alot of adaptions get held back by a few crappy fillers or a bad budget. This isn't one of those. This is more like "did they even READ the manga?" Other than the first 2 or 3 episodes, these anime differ so much from the original story its ridiculous

It certainly confused me at first. But I think that all the differences leading to something radically different was the idea behind this one.

That and the anime just isnt very good even if you look at it as a stand alone project

nah you should watch this anime its awesome... i haven't read the manga yet, but you this anime is still worth watching.
