"Before You Go" is offered as an expression of heartfelt gratitude to those who fought and won the Second World War and the Korean War - for their bravery, gallantry and sacrifices that assure the continued enjoyment of freedoms unprecedented in the history of mankind. A version dedicated to the veterans of the Vietnam War is also available at the site listed above.

As we lose those who gave us so much to age and time, it is our hope that the wondrous technology of the age of Internet will help us to deliver this tribute and message of thanks to every surviving veteran of the Second World War, their families and descendants.

With our profound thanks to those who we can never adequately thank, and in the hope that you will help us spread our message, we offer "Before You Go".

Though dedicated to the veterans of the Second World War, we view "Before You Go" to be equally applicable to all of the veterans of subsequent wars and current conflicts who have responded to the call of their country and placed their lives on the line on our behalf when asked to do so. We wish to thank all of those who have contributed their photographic services to this project without charge in order to add their thanks to the veterans who have given us so much.

  • I wish my father could have live to see and hear this tribute to his and his comrads and the sacrafice they made to The World. It is good to know that there are still Americans who love and resect this great nation. To all you faggots who are to cowerdly to serve in the military remember, if you wrote this in english (or had someone write it for you ) you owe that to a teather, and that you are free to express your misguided opinion than a vetern.

  • This is not the page to be sarcastic or disrespectful..now grow up and be someone we can also respect

But thank you for the video and thanks for the recognition....we'll never let you down so long as just one of us still breathes.

  • @Dolphindream15 why would you want this its sooo gay

  • this is the gayest vide i have ever seen you guys are so fucking gay

  • does any one have the MP3 OF THIS I REALLY WOULD LIKE IT

  • This song is worthless - Americans did not do shit in the war - they aint the hero's!!! The Hero's are the Soviets who lost literally 15 times more men than America did! The USSR lost more men in Stalingrad than America did in the whole war,Any Russian Vet will tell you D Day was nothing and meaningless compared to their feats. Remember that - the real hero's who brought down Hitler was the Soviets! Not these Americans that everyone sucks up to

  • @SashaVedernikov are you that dumb this is to thank them for what they have done for this great country or do you know why he wrote the song? He wrote it after seeing many dont thank them. If you dont know what a song is for then keep your thoughts to your self.

  • "Go in peace" jeez death sure is just what an 85 year old person wants to hear - I remember someone telling a group of WWII veterans that this is the last chapter in their lives,Boy did they get upset and pissed. Remember that - next time wish them "Good health" and "more life". Seriously when your 85 would you want all kinds of people telling you to "Go in peace" or this is the last part of your life. BS thats rude, older people do not want to hear about death - just ask my Grandpa
