Wonderful song, wonderful band... For me, much of the rest of the album is kind of disappointing. It's too disjointed and I don't really enjoy the REALLY weird and/or explicit sexual themes.

Exactly, it is an alter-ego not really him. Kevin mimics Bowie's alter ego as "Ziggy Stardust" Although he says there is no Georgie Fruit, I believe he is saying that he realizes he is not real. However, when he is "Georgie Fruit" he feels like he can express himself in a different way. Like an actor getting into character.
