Apparently David Roden had originally written a much better story featuring the 7th Doctor and the Brigadier fighting the Cybermen, but the BBC made them shoehorn Eastenders into the show instead. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd written this crap on purpose to embarrass the BBC when they knew millions would be watching.

Last time I saw this I was stoned out of my mind, it makes even less sense without mind-bending drugs.

Whatever the faults of the new version of the programme, there is nothing as dreadful as this.

It's an insult to the show. The cast members involved should have told the BBC to get stuffed even it if was for charity.
