A simple question, can anyone recommend films that are made as this in 2009,2008? This film was a true masterpiece, what films can be suggested that don't lend themselves only to effects and HD but the art of storytelling?

Dude, check out In The Loop. It's probably my favorite my of 2009 next to District 9. UK political black comedy, and totally independent. I see it as a spiritual successor to Dr. Strangelove. Scope that shit out.
