the old man is speaking poetry of very high eloquence...

And the Qari is reciting the words of Allah ^_^

kissing his hands is how much the old man apprciates, loves and respects him. nothing wrong with it, i think its very humble of the guy to go up to him and be willing to iss his hands.
anyway, the old man seems very educated, as some other qiraats of shaikh mahmood shahat he actually speaks out so much poetry and its like the highest classical arabic any one could speak :-) thought id share that with you all
