What is emo?

EMO = disillusioned, impressionable, pretentious, gullable, morons who easily fall victim to fads because they have no self identity

EMO = Sell out, unorigional, trendy, fashion victims, pop culture lemmings, incredibly homosexual.

I've always thought, that "emo" was a state of mind, and "goth" was a culture. I was recently watching something on television about Punks, and goths, and so on, And actually, the whole explanation on there, compaired to what you have here, seemed completely different, and more likely true.
