This is my version of "The Phantom of Manhattan". This film is rated for some adult content. Also, please do not watch if you are excited about the sequel or are a die-hard Andrew Lloyd Webber fan because I guarantee you'll be offended. You've been warned.

I don't own anything in this movie.

  • i was totally prepared for some complete ALW Phantom bashing...but none came! Serisously, I'm one of those "die-hard Andrew Lloyd Webber fans" you spoke of in the video info and none of that was offensive to me. So you might want to try a little bit harder...

  • @swedegirl13 I was trying to bash "Phantom of Manhattan", not necessarily ALW or his version of PotO. I put the warning there because there are some CRAZY ALW fanatics out there (the ones who think he's God's gift to musical theater and EVERYTHING he touches turns to gold--if you're one of those, no offense :) ) THOSE fans think even making a light joke is a criminal offense and God forbid you even suggest ALW's a plagiarist.

  • @amoresek2 Oh, of course! Nobody will ever remember Lon Chaney as the title character in the 1925 silent film (considered by some to be one of the greatest silent horror movies of all time), Ken Hill's musical, the 1943 Claude Raines version, or any other incarnation of Phantom. Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical is the only thing people like about Phantom, and the only thing people know about it. except that some people have read the book, too, but they don't count.

    Really?

  • @hazellwood THANK YOU!!!!!!! :)

  • 2:57...O.O; Did Erik just do what I think he did?

  • @McXahn Yep, he grabbed her boob. O_o

  • Oops...continuing..

It also ruins the most glorious and satisfying kiss at the end of the show. It takes away the beauty of Christine finally showing him an true affection of love.

The sequel makes me think why the hell is the kiss special if they slept with each other?

Thank you ALW, for messing up your own character's morals and the whole freaking plot. .....What would Michael Crawford say?!!!

I'll give Love Never Dies a chance, but as of now, I know it's going to ruin the magic of the first

  • Hi, check out my YouTube channel for a full review of this terrible book. Whatever you do, DONT BUY IT! That would only encourage him to do another.

  • @PhantomReviews: Don't even put the idea that he might do another one in my mind .-.

  • @TheaterRaven IT BURNS!!!

  • @hazellwood ... I'm sorry........ I didn't see the other comment the dude made....... And I'm not good at detecting sarcasm in real life, let alone through text XD

  • @PhantomInTraining

... I was kidding. That entire thing was sarcastic.

  • @hazellwood Are you kidding me?? Now that I've seen the other versions of PotO, the musical isn't my favorite (by far!!) anymore. I'd say the 1990 Charles Dance one or the silent one or even the Claude Rains one are my favorites. I don't think you can be called a true phan if all you've seen is ALW's movie/musical. There's just so much more to the phandom than that. :\

  • Funny!

  • The Phantom of the Opera can't have a sequel. I love the story and I wish there was more of it, but the only thing that will come out of trying to make a sequel is pointless crap . . . like The Phantom of Manhattan.

  • wait WHAT? I read the book today--and how did I miss that he was 'addicted to drugs'?! I never heard ANY of that?!

  • baaaahahaha Crappy book even crapper musical. Thanks for sharing.

  • Love this video !
