Dance Squared

I guarantee you'll get the music stuck in your head... but it's an awesome video made in 1961 by Rene Jodoin of the National Film Board of Canada. More information, along with a link to purchase it...

Awesome - But Notes on a Triangle is even better.
It's a shame that the NFB still sells mostly VHS. Who's going to pay 15$ for a single 3 minute film on VHS :/ That's more like what I would pay for a collection of abstract films on DVD.

I loved that other film myself. At least the NFB does put these films on their webpage these days.

Love this film. I used to look forward to seeing it every year when the old guy with his cine-projector came to the school. This movie got me into animation, and sent me off to Canada looking for the NFBC. How disappointed I was to discover that it was an office door and nothing more. These guys did all this in their garages. Genius. See also "Notes on a triangle" -- which is even better!

There are studios the NFB have anyway if they gave you the wrong impression.
