http://www.nucleusinc.com This 3D medical animation shows the common indications for a cesarean delivery, including dystocia, placenta previa, fetal distress and multiple births. A cesarean section (c-section) surgery to deliver a baby in frank breech (feet first) position is also shown. During the procedure, the surgeon (usually an obstetrician/gynecologist, i.e. ob/gyn) makes an incision in the abdominal wall and uterus in order to deliver the baby. The animation also includes information on what to expect before and after the surgery. See more 3D medical animations from Nucleus Medical Art at http://www.nucleusinc.com/youtube ANCE00177

I had an elective c-section and left hospital three days later - walking and carrying my baby. I thoroughly recommend it against natural childbirth. I have a flat tummy, no stretch marks - went full term - and have a brilliant 11 year old now. If you see it as an illness as such - and poor me - then you will see the pain as alas alas... get your mind into what must be will be and my child counts now frame of mind - the pain doesn't count - get on with it.
i had a c-section at 19 because i coudnt deliver naurally it took forever. the recoverty was bad but the scar is nothing mine is so small & thinits fine & no one sees it anyway.
I had 2 c-sections, the first due to fetal distress and the second due to placenta previa. For anyone facing a c-section, I strongly recommend a stomach binder... it really helps with moving around afterwards. Also sleep on a firm mattress that is easy to get in and out of at night. Good luck to anyone having their first c-section, it's not too bad.
i gave birth to my 2nd and 3rd child by c section but my i gave bitrh to my 1st child by normal delivery...amazing!they are taller than me now!i love my children so much!
