While I like the new Batman movies I do have to correct you. Sales are NEVER an indication of quality. Case in point: The Twilight shit series, Transformers, etc.

Some people don't know a good movie when they see one. The Dark Knight is a step above the usual Hollywood action flick in too many ways to list in less than 500 words. Chris Nolan is a consummate filmmaker, a title used liberally nowadays. Box-Office receipts DO NOT denote a movie's quality but in this case the two happen to coincide. Immense box office for an impressive film. Bravo!!! Can't wait for film 3.

I think it was a great film too, but the "movie sales" line doesn't mean a thing. Rollerball made a ton of money. So did xXx and the original horrible Joel Schumaker Batman films.

well i kind of agree with u but i fucking loved his performance i think he gave the joker a more serious look, unlike Nicholson in which he was halrious but no one can't beat Mark Hamill's laugh in my own opinion
