Yes, I got the ps3 at launch, so I have the 60 GB version. This version plays ps1 and ps2 disks. The newer versions don't have backwards compatibility if I recall correctly.

Hey does the ps3 80gb backwards compatability download work cause I use to have 60 and now I have to get 80 or 120
