Google Maps for mobile with My Location (beta)

driving direction and traffic update are not yet available in the Philippines. we have a big big problem in traffic management here....there are one way and two ways road that are politically dependents....even the U TURN....lastly, we have a very poor urban planning....

I am using google maps from palm pre. The location shows up correctly when I am outside a building. But when i am inside office my location is so wrong. When it is always cell phone towers which get the location why does it vary for inside and outside building.

It isn't always cell towers. That's only if you don't have GPS, can't get a GPS connection, or it won't work. The Pre has GPS, so google maps always tries to use it.

when u use this as an ap u r still tecnally online, du i have to pay for this page to come up?????
P.S im using a samsung hype.

it works on my ipaq without GPS ... wifi only how...

@k24601utube when you have wi-fi enabled, your device picks up beacons from wifi hotspots (like Café's) even when you're not connected. Each of these hotspots have been labelled with the address that they're used in. So, when you open your maps application your device is triangulating you based upon wifi hotspot locations.

Do not work with my iPaq 914c without GPS

And if it won't work, then try nokia's Maps. It has same feature, yet before google had it ...

It's quite good - in city <200m accuracy
