Why do they say this has bad animation? Sure the character designs are obviously old enough to be in the 1970's (this anime first aired in 1972 in Japan) and mouth movements are "puppetish" like practically all anime, but the animation of the Gatchaman team in action is pretty advanced for 1970's TV animation, expanding on Mach GoGoGo (Speed Racer), another Tatsunoko anime. It's better animation than the Pokemon anime by long shot! That's for sure!!

Even Alex Ross considered 70's anime to be different and wonderful. Go watch his commentary regarding Gatchaman. :D

Hay muchisimos animes de esa epoca que son excelentes... Versailles no Bara o Lady Oscar por ejemplo... es solo la forma en la que miras el cristal... Los animes clasicos son los mejores sin duda alguna!

¡claro que sí! Me gustan muchos animes de esa epoca. ¿Has visto el neuvo versión de Gatchaman? Yo no sé si fue traducido al español... soy de los EEUU. El arte es mejor, pero no creo que el corazón es tan buena. Yo prefiero claramente la versión original.
